Festbound is an independent prediction archive, not an advertising network. We collect only what is needed to understand aggregate readership and deliver alerts a visitor explicitly requests.
Aggregate analytics
Daily page counts are grouped by page, country, and an available state or region code. Raw IP addresses, full user agents, persistent visitor identifiers, and cross-site profiles are not stored. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected.
Optional browser alerts
When you enable alerts, Festbound stores the browser push endpoint, encryption keys, selected milestone categories, timestamps, and delivery-failure count. It does not ask for your name or email address.
Deletion and retention
The Unsubscribe button deletes the endpoint immediately and asks the browser to cancel its subscription. Invalid endpoints are deleted after the push service reports expiration. Records with neither a preference update nor a successful delivery for 12 months are removed during the next subscription, owner-summary, or delivery operation. A fifth consecutive failure triggers removal in that same delivery operation.
Processors and control
OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide hosting and database processing. Your browser’s push service—such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, or Mozilla—delivers alerts. Notification sends are initiated only from Festbound’s private owner console and recorded as aggregate delivery counts.
Your choices
Use RSS without providing subscription data. For browser alerts, change categories or unsubscribe on the Updates page. If browser permission was blocked, revoke or reset it in the browser’s site settings.
